Five Things: Town Election is Today

A quick look at what you need to see, do and know on March 4 in Lexington.

1. It's Election Day: Lexington's annual Town Elections are today. The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information on polling locations and specimen ballots, click here.

2. Free Rides to the Polls: For a free ride or to volunteer to drive voters to the polls for the Lexington Elections, call the League of Women Voters of Lexington at 781-862-6498.

3. Post-Election Party: After the polls close at 8 p.m., there will be a "post-election party" at the Lexington Depot, sponsored by the election campaigns of School Committee candidates Allesandro Alessandrini and Margaret Coppe, and Board of Selectmen candidates Deb Mauger and Joe Pato.

5. Mostly Cloudy: Should be mostly cloudy today, with a slight chance of showers and a high fo 43, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts more of the same overnight as the low drops down to 30.
