Former Lexington Softball Coach Arrested In Child Sex Sting

LEXINGTON, MA – A former high school softball coach in Lexington was arrested Monday after police said he arranged to have sex with a child in Nashua, NH. Michael Soby, 59, of Pelham, NH was charged with felony illegal computer use.

Soby was hired as the varsity softball coach for Lexington Christian Academy, a private school for grades 6-12, in March. The school told NECN Soby's contract was not renewed for next season but did not specify whether it was due to his arrest.

Lexington Christian Academy did not immediately return Patch's request for comment.
