Freeze Warning for Lexington

A freeze warning was issued for Lexington Sunday night.

The National Weather Service said temperatures will plunge into the 30s through early Monday morning. The freezing temperatures can kill plants.

Here’s the forecast for the early part of the week:

• Monday: Sunny. High 56, low 40.
• Tuesday: Rain starting just after noon. High 61, low 49.
• Wednesday: Rain all day. High 56, low 48.
