Further Construction to Close Rte. 2 West, I-95 Exits This Weekend

LEXINGTON, MA—Construction on the Rte. 2 and I-95 Interchange is set to enter its final stage, with traffic set to shift from Rte. 2 westbound to the new Rte. 2 westbound bridge this weekend.

According to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, The shift is set to take place beginning at 8 p.m. Friday and ending at 5 a.m. Monday. Ramps will be reopened in phases during this timeframe.

The following exits will be closed.

• Exit 52A from Rte. 2 West to I-95 South
• Exit 52B from Rte. 2 West to I-95 North
• Exit 29B from I-95 South to Rte. 2 West
• Exit 29B from I-95 North to Rte. 2 West
