“The Badge of a Freemason: Masonic Aprons from the Collection” is a new exhibition at the Scottish Rite Masonic Museum & Library. As one of the most iconic symbols of a Freemason, the over fifty Masonic Aprons and related artifacts on display detail the evolution of this unique symbol and tell the stories behind the people who made and wore them.

Join our staff for a free gallery talk on “The Badge of a Freemason: Masonic Aprons from the Collection” on September 24 at 2 PM. Our staff will guide you through the surprising history of these aprons by explaining the symbolism, workmanship and stories behind the people who wore the aprons and the craftsmen and women who created them.
