Halloween 2016: Reports of Paranormal Activity in Lexington

Who doesn't like a good scary story on Halloween Weekend?

LEXINGTON, MA — New England will forever be one of the creepiest parts of the country, and there is no shortage of "haunted" places in Massachusetts.

The New England Center for the Advancement of Paranormal Science (NECAPS), a group dedicated to testing of paranormal claims throughout the state through investigation and research, has compiled a database of alleged reports paranormal activity throughout the state. Research Scientist Mike Baker told Patch that he uses the data to see if he can detect correlations and patterns for further understanding.

Baker told Patch that he has scoured all forms of books, TV, and media and includes it in his databases. The reports of paranormal activity come from various sources such as legends, personal accounts, reports on the internet and more.

NECAPS' database shows one alleged reports of paranormal activity in Lexington. It is very important to keep in that these are claims and are not validated by hard data. NECAPS also offers tips on how to try and avoid misinterpreting what you see.
