Help Advance Racial Equity In Lexington; Participate In Upcoming Focus Groups

The first step in the process is to learn more about the challenges our community faces with racial inequity.

As part of our efforts to advance racial equity* in Lexington, we are working with All Aces, Inc. to engage a broad range of stakeholders in our community on this issue.

*These were reviously advertised as racial and social equity focus groups, but these particular focus groups hone in on racial equity. We will be addressing social equity in future events as part of our efforts to address racial and social inequity.

Learning

The first step in the process is to learn more about the challenges our community faces with racial inequity. Hearing these perspectives will help us identify opportunities for improving racial equity moving forward.

All Aces will be facilitating virtual focus groups to get input from:

  • Cultural/community groups
  • Elected/appointed members of Town boards/committees
  • Municipal staff
  • Any other interested community members

The virtual focus groups will take place on the following dates:

  • Community Members
    Wednesday, December 16, 7:00-8:30 PM
  • Community Members
    Thursday, December 17, 7:00-8:30 PM

Space for these focus groups is limited. If you aren’t able to make these dates/times, or the slots are filled, you can still register. Choose the option, “I cannot attend a session but I would like to contribute”. You’ll have the opportunity to submit the same feedback covered in the focus groups.
