Holiday Happenings at Lexington Community Education
Join Lexington Community Education this holiday season: take a holiday themed class or give the Gift of Learning with an LCE Gift Card.
Celebrate the holidays with a virtual visit to the city of Vienna (ranked the #1 most liveable city in the world in 2018 and 2019) in it's holiday grandeur. This photographic tour of Vienna's historic sites and cultural institutions in their seasonal splendor will be held on Saturday, December 4 at 2:00pm. For complete information: Vienna
Learn how to make Paper Window Stars that will enliven your windows with layers of color. Finished stars can adorn windows, walls or cards. Materials kits containing written instructions and enough kite paper to make several stars will be supplied. Class is appropriate for children age 9+ or for children age 6-9 with an adult. Tuition is for one child (age 6-9)/adult pair or one individual. This virtual class will be held on Saturday, December 11 at 3:00pm. Window Stars
To keep the warmth of the holidays into the New Year join our Felted Mittens class and learn to make simple, warm and waterproof mittens out of wool. Suitable for knitters who are confident beginners or better. Pattern will be provided, yarn and needles will be available for purchase, or bring your own. Instructions for finishing and felting will be provided to students at the end of class. This class will meet Saturday, February 5 at the Waldorf School at 2:oo pm. Felted Mittens
