Lexington Homicide: Woman Found Dead Behind Wheel Of Car
Authorities said Shen Cai, of Lexington, was in a vehicle parked near Lexington High School. No suspects have been announced.
LEXINGTON, MA — Authorities have ruled a Lexington woman's death a homicide, the Middlesex District Attorney's office said. Shen Cai, 49, was found dead in the driver's seat of a car parked on Worthen Road near Lexington High School, according to the DA.
Cai was found in a white Honda CRV around 12:30 a.m. Thursday, authorities said. Her friends called police after finding her unresponsive in the SUV, which is registered to her family, according to the DA. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cai was last seen by her husband and friends on May 28. Her friends became worried the next day when she missed two scheduled appointments after saying she was concerned about her safety, the DA's office said.
