How Many Millionaires Are in Lexington?

Lexington has 344 millionaires, according to a report by the Boston Business Journal.

The BBJ analyzed 2013 tax data and found Lexington had 344 millionaire filers—down from 379 the year before.

Lexington’s millionaires earned an average of $3.5 million.

These other communities topped the journal’s list:

• Newton 1,058 millionaires
• Wellesley 726
• Weston 491
• Brookline 417
• Cambridge 404

There were 12,501 millionaires in the state in 2013, an 8 percent drop from the previous year, the journal reported.
