How Patch has gone from nice to nasty...

I am so extensively sick of the messed up and very un-local "news" stories that I now see popping up on my facebook feed. There have been a few awful ones in particular, including this cheerful gem.

It's very obvious that patch and aol have gone through cutbacks and are now resorting to more of the mindless trash that AOL is truly known for. 
When patch started it seemed to be a great idea within each community and seemed to hold value in communication and content. But now its just turned disgusting. Will  you please stop these posts???????
