ICYMI: Lexington Overnight Sewer Work to Possibly Close Lanes Next Week

Work hours are set to begin in less than five hours.

LEXINGTON, MA—Phase five of the Sewer System Improvements Project could possibly close lanes and disrupt traffic on Massachusetts Avenue next week.

The town announced Wednesday that while Massachusetts Avenue is expected to stay open, lane closures and service disruptions are possible. The work is set to take place from Grant Street to Muzzey Street.

According to the Town Website, the project involves rehabilitation of existing gravity sewer. The work also includes replacement of sewer line, video services and inspection of existing conditions, lining, cleaning, testing and sealing.

Work hours are 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on May 31 and June 1.
