Information For Lexington Individuals, Businesses On CARES Act Federal Aid

The US Congress recently passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, which is a federal law that directs $2 trillion in funding to COVID-19 relief efforts. The CARES Act is wide reaching and includes help for individuals and businesses.

For individuals, it includes direct cash payments, expansion of unemployment benefits, health coverage, and student loan relief.

For businesses, it includes loan and grant programs, a debt relief program, counseling, and training.
