Saturday looks to be a night of celebration. From Act III’s website,
“Tonight, we celebrate a number of milestones. 1) We found a new, third home for our music, and we are here, doing it. 2) We finally got all the licensing we need to survive and thrive. 3) it’s Gwenn’s 60th birthday (no kidding) and so we are featuring an all-star composite band that kind of defeats genre-identification, because we can. Hiro Honshuku/ flute and EWI (electric wind instrument); Nando Michelin/ piano; Ebinho Cardoso/ bass and voice; Tiago Michelin/ drums. Buy a ticket for $0 to claim your table. Donations welcome to support the musicians. Hope to see you! Reservations gratefully honored.”
