Kings Burlington Set to Open Next Week
The Burlington location will be the largest Kings venue in Massachusetts.
Kings Burlington is slated to open next week, Monday Feb. 9 just nine months after a fire destroyed the venue within days its originally scheduled April, 2014 opening.
Kings will be located in the newly established 3rd Ave. development at Northwest Park in Burlington. This will be the largest Kings venue in MA, at 30,000 square feet and with a holding capacity of 700. Kings also has locations in Boston’s Back Bay, Legacy Place in Dedham and Market Street in Lynnfield. There are three locations outside of Massachusetts in Chicago, IL, Orlando, FL and Raleigh, NC.
Kings Burlington was due to open their doors in April 2014, but suffered a devastating fire, which destroyed the venue within hours, one day before orientation for the 200+ new employees. “We are thankful to the Burlington Fire Department along with other local departments for their rapid response and we are most thankful that no one was hurt. We are fortunate to place all the staff that are able to relocate in our other venues in our company. We will rebuild and hope to be open within a year,” Patrick Lyons said in a statement the following day. And now, less than a year later, Kings Burlington is here. The dedication and hard work put into this rebuild will be showcased when they open their doors.

What’s on the Menu?
The full-service Kings restaurant will serve an extensive menu of award-winning American classics and comfort food, made with fresh, seasonal, and—whenever possible—local ingredients. The latest menu is an all-time best from Kings’ executive chef Andre Bautista. This new menu features healthier options and caters to dietary restrictions, with gluten-free pizza dough and rolls. Kings serves lunch, dinner, late night fare, and an impressive craft beer and specialty cocktails list.
The menu features appetizer favorites like Fried Mac & Cheese Bites, Buffalo Wontons, and Kings’ Award Winning Famous Baked Wings. There is a large selection of Salads, Hand Tossed Pizzas, Wraps, Sandwiches and Flat Top Cooked Burgers.
Entrees include Pan Seared Citrus Salmon with Brown Rice & Grilled Asparagus, House Smoked Baby Back Ribs, with Fries, Coleslaw and Cornbread, and Maple Glazed Pan Seared Sea Scallops.
Desserts include a selection of creative sundaes ‘sized for sharing’ and a special Fountain Shoppe menu of nostalgic favorites like Wicked Awesome Milkshakes, Ice Cream Floats, and Raspberry Lime Rickeys.
The taste of nostalgia carries over onto the cocktail list, with drinks like a Strawberry Pop Rocktini, rimmed with Pop Rocks; Strawberry Peach Lemonade; and the popular Asian Pear Martini.
Beer aficionados will approve of the ice cold selection of local craft, seasonal and imported beers along with the favorite domestic selections of beers featured at Kings. Patrons can enjoy a frosty pint or the KINGS-sized 32oz. Mug.
