Korean-American Contemporary Artists

September 20th to October 5th

Gallery Hours: Tuesday-Friday & Sunday 12-4; Saturday 10-4

Korean Cultural Society of Boston (KCSB) presents the 2nd exhibition by Korean-American contemporary artists in the Boston area. Close to 30 art pieces, juried by Jane Portal, the Matsutaro Shoriki Chair, Art of Asia, Oceania, and Africa of MFA Boston, will be exhibited. Featured invited artist is Peter Haines.

The exhibition features pieces in a variety of media, including oil paint, photography, clay and fabric.

KCSB was founded in 2012 and focuses on presenting Korean culture. Besides exhibitions, exciting concerts of Korean Traditional music and dances are organized every year. KCSB also organizes a classical concert series and a special concert of soprano Hye-Kyung Hong in May, 2015.
