Boston, MA (August 18, 2015) – Last Hope K9 Rescue (LHK9) will be hosting its 3rd Annual Heaven Can Wait Gala at the Royale in Boston, MA on September 17, 2015 at 7:00pm.

LHK9’s Heaven Can Wait Gala promotes awareness and raises funds for vital animal welfare programs and groundbreaking shelter initiatives established by LHK9. The Gala will serve as a major animal rescue education event and a critical fundraiser for LHK9’s mission and programs.
The Heaven Can Wait Gala celebrates and honors foster families, adopters, donors, and of course, rescue dogs. All of these honorees help position LHK9 as a top local rescue whose mission is to change the lives of abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs. This distinctive formal event benefits LHK9’s greatest needs and helps make it possible to work through the many barriers that rescues face. Some of the major barriers include: the high cost of treating dogs that enter our program in less than perfect medical condition, financing training for dogs that need more guidance in order to reach their full potential, and basic animal care including vaccinations, spay and neuter programs, and preventatives.
The event will feature live and silent auctions, a full course meal, a sponsored bar, several local sponsors, as well as local celebrities including WAAF’s Danielle Murr who will also be the night’s emcee.
LHK9 is a 100% volunteer run all-breed rescue dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs from high-kill shelters. Since being founded in 2012, they have found forever homes for over 2,800 dogs. LHK9 does not discriminate on the basis of age, pre-existing medical condition, or breed. Large monthly adoption events are held throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire, with smaller showcase adoption events being held every weekend for harder to place dogs.
Last Hope K9 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity organization relying on adoption fees and donations from generous caring individuals and businesses.
