Lecture: "Paul Revere: The Original Social Networker"

Learn how Paul Revere used his many social clubs and family connections to create a remarkably successful business.

Join us for a free lecture on Saturday, October 1 at 2 PM at the Scottish Rite Masonic Museum & Library located at 33 Marrett Road in Lexington, MA. Call 781-861-6559 or www.srmml.org for more information.

Social networking is considered a thoroughly modern idea, but in this lecture by noted scholar Jeannine Falino, we will learn how Paul Revere pioneered the idea in the second half of the eighteenth century. Falino will examine how Revere used his family connections and social contacts, which included Masonic organizations, to create the most successful business model of all the Boston silversmiths in his generation. Question and answer session to follow.
