LEXINGTON, MA — There were no surprises in Lexington's Annual Town Election on Tuesday. All five races on the ballot were uncontested. Of the 22,195 registered voters in Lexington, 9,365 cast their ballots — about 43 percent of registered voters in town.
Each uncontested race received a few write-in votes but none earned enough to make a dent in the results. Douglas Lucentee and Mark Sandeen earned spots on the Select Board. Deborah Brown was elected Moderator and Sarah Cuthbertson was elected to School Committee.
Robert Creech and Charles Horing were voted to the Planning Board — the Planning Board race received the most write-in votes with 88 votes. Richard Perry was elected to Housing Authority.
