Lexington Administrator Among Finalists for Birch Meadow Principal Position
There are three finalists for the principal position of Reading's Birch Meadow Elementary School.

READING, MA - Three finalists have been announced for the Birch Meadow Elementary School principal position, and a Lexington administrator is in the mix.

- Patricia Beckman, Associate Principal, Birch Meadow Elementary School, Reading, MA
- Julia Hendrix, Assistant Principal, Harrington Elementary School, Lexington, MA
- Gregory Irvine, Principal, Mindess Elementary School, Ashland, MA
On Wednesday, each candidate will be part of a site visit to Birch Meadow Elementary School which will include a tour of the school, interviews with students, interviews with the District Leadership Team, a classroom observation, and an open microphone session with staff, according to Superintendent John Doherty.
On Thursday, each candidate will participate in a Community Open Microphone Session which will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Birch Meadow Cafeteria. The schedule for Thursday’s Open Microphone Session are as follows:
