Lexington Among 50 'Best Suburbs in America'

Lexington is one of the 50 best suburbs in America.

At least that’s according to Niche, which recently released its “Best Suburbs in America” survey.

Niche, which evaluates schools and neighborhoods, said it based its rankings on several factors, including livability, local schools, safety, jobs, community, and housing. Lexington was ranked No. 49. Brookline came in No. 1 overall.

This is how Lexington was graded:

• Education: A+
• Community: A+
• Housing: A-
• Jobs: B
• Crime, safety: B+
• Health/fitness: A+
• Outdoor activities: A+
• Weather: C+
