Lexington Community Education and Follen Church offer Free Bystander Training

This training will be held on Sunday, April 23 from 12:30-2:30pm at the Follen Church, 755 Massachusetts Ave.

Follen Church and Lexington Community Education are proud to be partners in presenting this free Bystander Training program with IMPACTBoston.org.

Do you want to speak up and intervene when you seen an opportunity to respond to harassment, hate speech or sexual violence but don't know how to do it safely? Come learn the skills to best protect your own safety and manage your own stress response as well as how to manage challenging conversations, communicating confidence with body language (even when you don't feel it) and how to de-escalate a situation. Strong, explicit language will be used. Appropriate for ages 15+.

The training will be held on Sunday, April 23 from 12:20-2:30pm in the Follen Church Community Center, 755 Massachusetts Ave.
