LEXINGTON COMMUNITY EDUCATION offers Upcoming classes with Award-winning Flat Picking Guitarist and Mandolinist, Tony Watt.

Two separate workshops with Tony Watt. Each five-week course will begin on Thursday, January 12th at Lexington High School

Beginning Bluegrass Guitar & Mandolin will emphasize the development of skills needed to play lead bluegrass guitar and mandolin and participate in bluegrass jams. No previous experience needed. Please bring a playable mandolin or acoustic guitar (ideally with steel strings) and a pick. Class meets from 6:30-8:00pm. The cost is $100/Seniors $75

Beginning Three-Part Harmony Singing is focused on two core skills: learning how to determine harmonies and learning to teach yourself to sing harmonies using your instrument as a guide. The Harmony Singing class is open to all instruments, all levels, but is geared towards those who have trouble finding harmonies on their instrument and/or with their voice. Please bring an instrument to class. Class meets from 8:00-9:30pm. The cost is $100/Seniors $75.
