Lexington Community Education presents An Evening with Pedro Lilienfeld
Pedro Lilienfeld will recount his family's background and harrowing personal experiences against the backdrop of World War II.

Lexington resident Pedro Lilienfeld will recount his family’s background and their harrowing personal experiences against the backdrop of the historical events that affected them immediately following the breakout of World War II. Starting with Hitler’s seizure of power in 1933, and the subsequent events that took place, the Lilienfeld family was in mortal danger and on the run from Germany to Spain, from Spain to France, and from France back to Spain, until finding a haven in South America in 1942. From repeated unsuccessful attempts to gain admission to the United States, to mortal danger following the Nazi German occupation of a French town, this evening’s true story of hope and survival, despite the vicissitudes in the European hell of World War II, is not to be missed.
The event will be held at the Lexington Depot, 13 Depot Square, Lexington on Thursday, October 2nd from 7-8:30pm. The cost of the evening’s event is $10.00. Pre-registration required. To register, using a VISA or MasterCard, please contact Lexington Community Education at 781 862 8043.
