Lexington Community Education presents: Over 50 and Unemployed-The New Reality with John Denney, CFA

Come to learn strategies to deal with being unemployed. Learn how to wake up every day satisfied with who you are.

This course is not designed to help you find a job, it is designed to give you an understanding of your new reality and the tools to lead a healthy, and yes, happy life while you are unemployed. Being unemployed can have devastating effects—not just on the unemployed person—but also on his or her family and friends. Most people who are unemployed today have had long and successful careers and are unprepared for dealing with being unemployed in a healthy way. Loneliness, depression, anxiety, alcoholism, feelings of worthlessness, divorce, and sexual infidelity are some of the problems that can arise with unemployment.

This course will meet for four Wednesdays beginning October 29th from 1:00-2:30 pm in the Lexington Community Education office. The cost of the class is: $50.00. Pre-registration, using a MasterCard or VISA, is required by contacting LCE at 781 862 8043.
