Lexington Debt Exclusion Results: Full Voting Breakdown

Lexington passed a debt exclusion to fund school building projects Monday.

LEXINGTON, MA—The Clarke and Diamond Schools in Lexington are set to undergo construction after residents voted in favor of a debt exclusion which will fund building project at the schools.

Lexington voted 'yes' in favor of a debt exclusion which will help to pay for the bonds issued to conduct renovations at the Clarke and Diamond Middle Schools. 3,333 residents voted in favor of the debt exclusion, while 2,134 residents were opposed.

In total, according to the unofficial election results, 26 percent of Lexingtonians turned out to vote.

Precincts 2 and 4 had the greatest turnout with 29 percent, with Precinct 3 having the lowest turnout at 19 percent. Each of Lexington's nine precincts voted in favor of the debt exclusion.
