Lexington establishments participating in Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer's "Sweet 16"
Annual event runs May 4 through May 10 (Mother's Day)

Treat the special women in your life to decadent desserts while also helping fight breast cancer during the 16th annual Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer from May 4 through Mother’s Day on May 10. More than 250 restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, cafés, chocolate and ice cream shops in Massachusetts will participate in Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer, including:
- Artistry on the Green – Lexington
- Stop and Shop – Lexington
These establishments will designate all sales of one specific dessert, or 50 percent of proceeds from their entire dessert menu, to support breast cancer care and research. Proceeds will be shared by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Bakes for Breast Cancer, Inc., a non-profit breast cancer organization dedicated to making a difference.
The event was founded in 2000 by Carol Brownman Sneider in memory of her mother, Eva Brownman, who passed away from breast cancer in 1973. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $700,000 for breast cancer research and care at the Susan F. Smith Center for Women’s Cancers at Dana-Farber.
