Lexington Firefighters Fight Chimney Fire On Marrett Road
Firefighters were called to Marrett Road/Route 2 A near Middle Street for a chimney fire Friday.

LEXINGTON, MA — Lexington fire and rescue teams were sent to Marrett Road Friday for a report of a fire. The first report was issued around 6:45 p.m., according to alerts online, and later, learned it was a chimney fire. In a little less than 45 minutes, according to the Lexington Firefighters Local 1491, teams had extinguished it and were cleaning up after the fire.
