Lexington Losing 1,000+ Jobs in Cimpress Move

Cimpress, formerly known as Vistaprint, plans to relocate its headquarters.

Marketing giant Cimpress is leaving its Lexington headquarters for Waltham.

The billion-dollar company, formerly known as Vistaprint, plans to move its 1,000 workers into a new space at 275 Wyman St. in Waltham, the Boston Business Journal reported.

The move is part of a larger expansion plan for the company, which now has the capacity to add 600 new jobs. Currently, there are 100 jobs available.

“This (move) gives us the opportunity to expand significantly,” said CEO Robert Keane in an interview.

The company, which provides business services including printing, software and technology services, is expected to earn about $1.5 billion in revenue this year—up about 15 percent percent over last year, the Journal reported.
