NECN reported the driver of the truck will be charged for having an unsecured load.
The incident was reminiscent of an incident in Topsfield in July when an unsecured ax tore through the windshield of a passing car. No one was hurt in that incident. State Police followed up with a citation campaign to spread awareness of the importance of securing loads on trucks.
