Lexington Named Among America's Best Small Cities, Study Finds
WalletHub graded communities on affordability, economic health, education, quality of life and more.

LEXINGTON, MA — Lexington residents know that the town is a great place to live and raise a family, but now others are seeing it too. In a recent study, the personal finance site WalletHub rated Lexington as one of the "best small cities" to live in America.
Lexington was listed as No.37 on WalletHub's list. Other Massachusetts communities that made the list were Milton (8), Melrose (26), Wellesley (33) and Northampton (35).

WalletHub's analysts compared 1,268 communities with populations between 25,00 and 100,000 based on 30 key livability factors including housing costs, school system quality and more.
Lexington scored in the 97th percentile in these factors with a total score of 65.57. It received a 'Safety' rank of 9, an 'Education & Health' rank of 17, a 'Quality of Life' rank of 278, an 'Affordability' rank of 397 and an 'Economic Health' rank of 760.
