Lexington PD Opens Applications for 2017 Youth Academy
There are two sessions available this summer.

LEXINGTON, MA – The Lexington Police Department has opened registration for its 2017 Youth Academy. This summer, the department is offering two free two-week sessions for kids and teens ages 12-17, and space is limited to 20 participants in each session.
Topics covered include first aid/CPR training, team-building exercises, an introduction to law enforcement, history of the Lexington Police Department and games. The academy runs Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Lexington High School, 251 Waltham Street.
Session 1 runs from July 10-21, followed by Session 2 from July 24 - Aug. 4.

Application forms are available online or at the Lexington Police Department, 1575 Massachusetts Avenue. They must be printed out, signed and returned to LPD by Friday, June 23.
