Lexington Police to Hold Summer Youth Academy for Kids

The program lasts for two weeks and is free of charge.

LEXINGTON, MA—The Lexington Police Department is holding a Summer Youth Academy for kids ages 12-16 this summer.

The program is free of charge and lasts for two weeks, introducing young people to the Law Enforcement Explorer program and Public Safety. The program will cover first aid and CPR, team building, an introduction to law enforcement, Lexington Police history and programs and will include some fun and games.

Candidates can pick up an application at the Lexington Police Station or fill out the application form or liability waiver online. Applications are due by July 22.

The program will run from August 8 to August 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at Lexington High School.
