Lexington to Provide Seminars on Mosquito, Tick-Borne Disease Prevention
There are several public seminars on mosquito and tick-borne disease prevention in Lexington.
Over the next two weeks, the Town of Lexington Office of Public Health and the East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project will treat over 4,000 catch basins with Vectolex WSP, a water-soluble larvicide containing Bacillus sphaericus. This will kill the larvae of Culex mosquitoes, which spread West Nile Virus.
Public Seminars
The Lexington Board of Health will be sponsoring several upcoming seminars on Mosquito-and Tick-Borne Diseases and How to Prevent Bites.
Admission is free and pre-registration is not required.
