Lexington Ranked No. 1 Community in New England

Lexington residents live in the best community in New England, according to a new survey.

The real estate service Movoto ranked the 10 best communities in New England. Lexington came in at No. 1. “The ’shot heard ‘round the world’ happened here, and the national pride in this town is still very strong, with the Fourth of July being particularly patriotic ... Throw in some national parks, landmarks, and great museums, and there’s pretty much something for everyone here.”

Lexington was commended for its high median income ($130,637) and student-teacher ratio (12 to 1).
