Lexington resident hired to lead Citizens Bank Security Alarm Industry Banking Group

Chris Needham hired as part of a focused effort to expand Citizens' commercial banking capabilities in the security alarm industry

Citizens Bank announced today the hiring of Christopher E. Needham and Kenneth J. Mooney as Managing Directors of Citizens’ Security Alarm Industry Banking team.

Based in Boston, Needham and Mooney join veteran Citizens banker Jane Westrich as part of a focused effort to expand Citizens’ commercial banking capabilities serving companies in the security alarm industry and other similar recurring revenue business lines.

Most recently, Mooney and Needham were executives at Seguin Partners, LLC, a Massachusetts-based private equity firm that Needham co-founded.

Previously, Needham had been a Managing Director at Bariston Partners, LLC, a Boston-based private equity firm. He began his banking career with State Street Bank and later worked for Citizens Bank after Citizens acquired the commercial banking business, including his division’s security alarm specialty group, from State Street.

Needham earned his MBA from Harvard University and has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Maryland.
