Lexington Resident Receives Recognition for Academic Achievement from Wheelock College

Stephanie Hom, a Lexington resident, was recognized for excellent academic performance at Wheelock College and placed on the Dean's List.

Stephanie Hom, a Lexington resident, was recognized for excellent academic performance at Wheelock College and placed on the Dean’s List.

She joins Wheelock College’s growing student body on the Dean’s List, a universal acknowledgement within the academic arena as a symbol of high achievement. A student is eligible when he or she earns a minimum semester grade-point average of 3.8 (on a 4.0 scale); successfully completes a minimum of twelve credit hours during the semester which are graded on a ‘letter grade’ basis; and does not carry any Incomplete grades (‘I’) or Failing grades (‘F’) for the semester at the time the Dean’s List is determined.

She is majoring in Early Childhood Education and Developmental Psychology with a minor in Understanding Autism, and hopes to be a Special Education Teacher for children with severe disabilities. Along with being a Resident Assistant, Hom is on the Cross Country team and is a member of Best Buddies and the Autism Awareness Club.
