Lexington Residents: Are You Registered to Vote?

Here's how you can find out if you are registered, and here's how to register to vote if you are not.

LEXINGTON, MA — The State Primary Election will be held on Sept. 8, and residents must be registered to vote on Aug. 19. Here is some information from the Town of Lexington to help you prepare.

Voter registration is on-going throughout the year. There are 3 ways to register:

  • Online on the State website To submit an online application, you must have a valid driver's license, learner's permit, or non-driver ID issued by the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV). You must also have a signature on file with the RMV.
  • Mail-in voter registration Forms are available at the Town Clerk’s Office and online on the State website. Forms are also available at any Massachusetts City or Town Clerk office. Registrations filed out-of-town will be forwarded to Lexington.
  • In Person You can register to vote during office hours, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM at: Office of the Town Clerk Town Office Building 1625 Massachusetts Avenue Lexington, MA
