Lexington Road Closures As Paving Work Continues

What areas of town will be closed this week?

LEXINGTON, MA – Several road closures are underway or will begin this week due to paving work. Crews are in the midst of completing work on this year's list of streets around town. Work is being done from May 22 through May 26.

The following roads will be closed during work hours, which are typically from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exception is Middleby Road, which will have an alternating one-way traffic pattern supported by a police detail. The Lexington Police Department says it will also try to leave Watertown partially open.

Watertown Street, Crescent Road and Briggs Road: Mon.-Wed.

Cary Avenue and Tufts Road: Wed.-Fri.

During closures only local traffic will have access, with the exception of buses, which will be allowed down Watertown Street.
