The verdict: This sandwich is going to be hard to beat.
With every bite I got a new layer of flavor and texture, starting with the heat of the cayenne pepper-dusted capicola, then the sharp bite of the provolone and the moist snap of the hot banana peppers.
The bread, baked at the original Tutto's location in Hyde Park, was dense enough that the sandwich never fell apart. Another standout quality was that Tutto's slices every ingredient in its 'wich on the spot, including the tomatoes and onions. The attention to detail pays off with bite after balanced, flavorful bite.
