Lexington Wins State Soccer Finals

In a close game against Westborough, LHS completed its improbable state title run.

LEXINGTON, MA—The Lexington Minutemen boys soccer team won the state final game on Saturday night to Lexington, 2-1.

In a highly improbable run, Lexington grabbed the crown for the state division 1 MIAA tournament after beginning the tournament as the No. 10 Seed.

It was the first boys soccer state title in Lexington High School history, reports the Boston Globe.
