Lexington's Wilson Farm Unveils Sweet Holiday Display

The bakery went all out this year for its 5-foot, 300-pound gingerbread house.

LEXINGTON, MA – Wilson Farm in Lexington unveiled its gingerbread house display Sunday, and it's not quite your garden-variety arts and crafts project.

Built as a scaled-down, much tastier version of a bakery, the display stands over 5 feet tall, 6 feet wide and weighs in at a whopping 300 pounds.

Jeanne Gere, head cake decorator at Wilson Farm, told the Lexington Minuteman that the design differs every year, with bakers designing a train, a castle and a replica of Wilson Farm in years past.
