Longtime Lexington Dunkin' To Reopen With New Addition

LEXINGTON, MA — A new dual-brand Dunkin' and Jimmy John's restaurant is opening in Lexington, bringing new life to a longtime Dunkin' location that closed last year.

The restaurant at 323 Marrett Road is scheduled to open Tuesday, Aug. 18, according to a news release from The Pesce Network, the Massachusetts franchise organization operating the location. A grand opening event is planned for Sept. 12.

The property has a lengthy history with Dunkin'. The original store opened at the site Sept. 29, 1970, as the chain's 245th location. It remained in operation for decades before closing in early 2025.

The property has since been renovated and will reopen under new ownership. The new restaurant combines Dunkin' and sandwich chain Jimmy John's in the same location.

The Pesce Network operates more than 60 Dunkin' and Jimmy John's restaurants across Massachusetts, according to the company.

A public grand opening celebration is scheduled for Sept. 12, beginning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. The event will also include games, prizes, giveaways and a buy-one-get-one-free Jimmy John's sandwich promotion.
