MA Patch Daily: Movie Stars in the State, AG Sues, LEDs in Parks

Plus, garbage man injures hand, student hospitalized after accident, and a caretaker allegedly pawned items.

Sometimes at Patch, it’s amazing how a simple post can conjure up past memories.

Such was the case yesterday after we posted the story and photo gallery from inside the iconic Hilltop Steak House in Saugus, which will soon be demolished. On a number of our Facebook sites last night and today, people across New England shared memories of family and friends dining at the historic landmark. Thanks for taking the time to share all your memories with us.

Other things to know today: The state of Massachusetts is converting lists at state parks and rec areas to LEDs in order to save money. The prosecution has rested its case in the penalty phase of the Boston Marathon Bombing trial. This MBTA rider allegedly spat at a woman and police are trying to find out who it is. Do you recognize him? Use of breath tests for drunk-drivers is being suspended due to questions about their accuracy. And lastly, there are new movies and televisions shows coming to Netflix next month.
