Prior to joining The Bulfinch Group, Mahim was an investment banker in New York with Salomon Smith Barney and Credit Suisse. He was also a venture capital executive in Asia, and he was an entrepreneur in the healthcare technology industry in Lexington.

He is a graduate of Carleton College in Minnesota and earned his MBA at Cornell University. Mahim resides in Lexington with his wife, Seetha Ramnath who is from Lexington, and his son, Deven. When not working, he spends his free time playing tennis, swimming, and hiking with his family.
