The Metropolitan Wind Symphony will continue their 44th season with 4 Free traditional outdoor Band Concerts on Thurs. July 9, 16, 23, and 30, from 7:30 to 8:30 pm, at Hastings Park, Levi Burnell Bandstand, Mass. Ave. and Worthen Rd., Lexington, MA.

Hear a great band perform four free outdoor concerts on Thurs. nights in July at Hastings Park, Mass. Ave. and Worthen Road in Lexington.

The Metropolitan Wind Symphony will continue their 44th season with 4 Free traditional outdoor Band Concerts on Thursday July 9, 16, 23, and 30, from 7:30 to 8:30 pm, at Hastings Park, Levi Burnell Bandstand, Mass. Ave. and Worthen Road, Lexington, MA. MWS Music director Lewis J. Buckley will conduct the varied music programs, which will have something for all tastes.

Selections will include Stars and Stripes Forever by John Philip Sousa, Overture to Candide by Leonard Bernstein, Morning, Noon, and Night in Vienna by Franz von Suppe, American Civil War Fantasy by Jerry Bilik, Four Scottish Dances by Malcolm Arnold, Bugler’s Holiday, Trumpeter’s Lullaby and Irish Washerwoman by Leroy Anderson, and Boston Strong by Zach Friedland.

Patrons are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and to picnic while enjoying the concerts. The concerts will be held, weather permitting.
