Minuteman's Vegan & Plant Based Food Series
Register now to join us - the first class is Thursday, January 29th!

Minuteman Community Education is offering a Vegan & Plant Based Food Series. In this six week course, we cover the basics of plant-based eating. A well balanced diet, rich in fresh produce, whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds is essential for good health, longevity and beauty. But in today’s society, we gravitate towards processed, fast foods full of animals products, toxic chemicals, sugar, wheat and sodium. We are what we eat-and what we eat isn’t so pretty!
These classes will cover the fundamentals of plant-based nutrition, where to get all the essential nutrients, how to replace meat and dairy in your diet and ways to make healthy eating both delicious and fun! From simple quinoa dishes, mock mac and cheese, faux meatballs and elaborate salads, you’ll learn how to feed both you and your family the healthiest of animal-free meals.
Register for all 6 and save! $30 per session or $150 for all 6! A materials fee of $20 per class due to the instructor on the night of class.

These dishes will showcase how to get a well-balanced amount of nutrition into each meal, while learning what homemade ingredients we can create to substitute things like mayo, cheese sauce and creamy dressings.
