Missing Elderly Woman May Be in Lexington Area

A missing elderly woman from New Hampshire may be in the Lexington area.

Janet Murphy, 76, of Exeter, was last heard from Friday at about 2:30 a.m., when she called a friend saying she was lost in Waltham, according to Exeter police.

She was driving a gray, 2011 Subaru Legacy. She has gray hair, blue eyes, and a slim build. She stands 5 feet, 4 inches and weighs 125 pounds. She may be carrying a black bag. Her family said she’s struggling with memory loss.

Police said she went missing after leaving choir practice at the Bellville Church in Newburyport Thursday at about 10 p.m.
