More Rain, Sleet, Snow on the Way for Lexington This Week
Things won't clear up until Friday.

A miserable mix of rain, sleet, and snow will continue to pound Lexington this week.
Up to 3 inches of rain was expected to drench town by Tuesday night, causing flooding in some areas. The rain was expected to continue until 10 p.m.
Wednesday morning will feature more rain. Things will turn to sleet and snow Thursday before things clear up Friday.

Here’s the latest National Weather Service forecast:
- Tuesday: Heavy rain. Up to 3 inches of rain in some areas. High of 41 degrees, low 35.
- Wednesday: Rain until 1 p.m. High 42, low 33. The rain will start back up again around midnight.
- Thursday: A mix of rain, sleet, and snow all day. High 40, low 29
- Friday: Mostly cloudy. High 39, low 29.
