This Mother's Day, Honor A Woman You Love With A Gift to a Woman in Need

Women's Lunch Place will offer cards online and at The Shops at Prudential Center

BOSTON (April 19, 2016) – Mother’s Day is May 8 and this year you can honor your mother or another special woman in your life with a beautifully designed card that delivers a warm greeting and supports women experiencing poverty and homelessness. For a $25 donation, Women’s Lunch Place will send a hand-signed card on your behalf or we will mail it to you directly so you can deliver it personally.

Mother’s Day cards are available online at www.womenslunchplace.org. The cards will also be sold at The Prudential Center from May 5 through May 7, as well as at Hammond Residential Real Estate’s Chestnut Hill office from 9-5 p.m. on Monday-Friday.

The card features artwork created by a guest of Women’s Lunch Place. “All of the proceeds from the Mother’s Day card campaign support a wide array of services to the most vulnerable women in our community, including nutritious meals, job readiness and employment assistance, access to health care, and housing advocacy,” said Women’s Lunch Place Executive Director Elizabeth Keeley.
